Percentiles aren't a test score. A child on the 15th percentile can be just as healthy as one on the 85th. What matters most is that your child keeps following their own curve over time. Ask your pediatrician if a measurement is below the 3rd or above the 97th percentile, or if your child crosses two major percentile lines (for example, from the 50th to below the 10th).
