Ages 2–18
Screen vs. active time checker
Not about guilt. A quick look at whether screens are crowding out the things kids need most: movement, sleep and time together.
2 areas to nudge
Recreational screens: room to improve
Ages 5+: many pediatricians suggest keeping fun screen time around 2 hours, with a family media plan.
Physical activity: room to improve
Kids and teens need about 60 minutes of movement a day. Outdoor play counts.
Sleep: on track
Aim for at least 9 hours at this age. Screens off an hour before bed helps.
Try a simple swap: earn screen minutes after outdoor time, or make one evening a week screen-free.
